Summer 2004 and Beyond: Going to the GoGo
Friday, 2 December 2005
Thursday at Zanzibar
Zanzibar on the Waterfront, 700 Water Street SW Washington, DC 20024

This was only my second visit to Zanzibar (the first was for the Fantasia After Party) and my first to the upstairs area. This was a different crowd than usual for Familiar Faces. It was diverse in make up, including the ages of the fans present. Many people were very dressed up.

Shonda, Michon and Candy were there.

A man named Darrell sat down at a table with me, along with his friend, a woman named Kimberly. Kimberly recognized me as a regular attendant at Familiar Faces shows. She asked me if I was their manager. I told her about my project and she told me all about her love for GoGo.
