Summer 2004 and Beyond: Going to the GoGo
Saturday, 16 July 2005
Friday at Safari Steakhouse
Safari Steakhouse, 9430 Annapolis Road Lanham MD 20706

A couple who had been at Thursday's show were there. The husband came by and introduced himself to me, His name is June - I later heard her name is Shadonna. I told him about my project.

Peanut was there.

Kato, Teago, and Wayne, rapper for Fatal Attraction were there. Kato and Teago took Wayne to the show to introduce him to Familiar Faces' music. Fatal Attraction opens for Backyard, so he's familiar with their music, but they want to expand his range to other GoGo bands. DP asked what kind of music Fatal Attraction played. I told them the Duane Face story.

Donnell told Nephew how my filming wouldn't work. The video people thought the different media wouldn't go well together... Nephew said, "I guess he owes me something", laughing. I said, "Was there ever a time in your life when you weren't a smartass?" He said, "Never."

I sat over by 6'9, we talked about Gilchrist. He was disgusted by Real Sex which was showing on the TV. Love (actually now from What? Band) was there, I introduced myself to him. He hugged Stomp. I teased Stomp that he must have heard there was room in his room.
