RIP Boolah
I first read on TMOTT that Clarence "Boolah" Roper, former guitar player for 911/Familiar Faces and other groups, was in critical condition on July 24th on TMOTT. I was shocked; I had seen him perform with The Band on June 29th. I followed the news on his condition until his unfortunate death on August 6th of Cancer at age 46.

I feel fortunate that I was able to experience his incredible talent first hand. He was a nice guy and he will be missed.

Here is a link to a tribute page on him.

His funeral information:
Friday, August 10, 2007 Caroline County Community Service Building, 17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford, VA 22514

You can view or sign his guestbook.
