It was so packed and hot with body heat that I sweated through my shirt.
Rasheed talked with me in the parking lot. He introduced me to his brother Snells. He said Snells' two best friends are Smoke and GoGo Mickey. He said that Snells was hanging out with Smoke at his house around the corner during the break between sets. Rasheed talked about how they (Third Eye) had been involved with GoGo since they were kids. He said that L!ssen Da Grew^p did a lot of R&B (as opposed to GoGo) because of the market for it, and how some fans prefer Da Grew^p's R&B to their GoGo. He talked about this in regard to their album, Da Music Da Story, which has Donnell and Deuce on it. This was in response to my own taste - I prefer throw down crank (crank meaning rhythmic intensity, not simply "good" like some define it) and don't like slow songs. Rasheed said that Scooby was in the Dominican Republic and so they came out to show their support. It was a very friendly conversation.
