I watched the DVD. I was impressed with the video quality, and the audio quality was good too. I like how they worked in the still photos of the band members, which included photos all the way from childhood to present day. They also did a good job of including a variety of angles and close ups, both of the band and the crowd. I am visible on the DVD, including holding a camera lens for Darrell - this was the last event where he used a film 35mm camera before switching to a digital 35mm camera.

It felt a little weird coming back here in the evening since I work a block away. This was a PBMC event.
Sashay Shaunte was there. Darrell was there, taking pictures. I talked with Paul from the sound equipment crew about the PG County club closings. Sashay introduced me to 2nd2None from TMOTT. Sweet Chelle, SaVern, Machelle, Gwynn, Tracy, Tori, Melanie, MeCelle, Michon, Dog, Peg Leg, Skaci, Ariel, NeeNee, Slim Goodie, PeeWee, 6'9, Darlene, L-Boogie, Kim (the one I don't know), Sanisse, Mary, Lashonda, Shawnie, LA, Tracy S., Val "Tina Turner", and Shelly were there.
Except for a few brief moments, I didn't go into the ballroom until just before Familiar Faces was supposed to start. MC Lyte was supposed to open, I didn't see her, but I know she was there. I did see a band with a female Sax player - she was the only person onstage when I first arrived.
