Zanzibar on the Waterfront, 700 Water Street SW Washington, DC 20024
Yvette, Big Don Pimp (celebrating his birthday, with also a private party upstairs), Cookie, and Darrell F. were there. Darrell F. introduced me to Pinky's sister Rachelle. I recognized her as a regular (and as looking like Pinky). I talked with Vaughn "Drunk" who works with Packy on setting up the equipment. He said he plays drums for Unity, the band that Packy plays congas for. Ras Lidj was there. He said he was waiting for his category as the DC Reggae Awards were downstairs. Again guys were playing chess the whole evening. Pinky was there with two young ladies I'd never met before - April "JuJu", and her (Pinky’s) god daughter Tia. Kim, RE Angie, and Keisha were there.
