A white woman asked me what I was doing there. I get asked that a lot, but this is the first time a white person asked me that.
Donnell said, "Where you at Rico (to start playing music during the break), did Rico go to the Hangar Club already?" DJ Rico said, "Donnell, you my n*gger. Later he'll be hanging from the chandelier, Sax in one hand and light rod in the other. Tomorrow he'll be dancing with the mic stand between his toes.
Los and Maya were there.
Second Set
Donnell said, "Ladies, if you want to see Rico take it off..." DJ Rico said, "You can see Donnell on Comcast 76 tomorrow. Twenty-four hour marathon starting at 8 AM. (DJ Rico mentioned different channels for different cable systems). Pay-per-view $19.95 with $35 for shipping." Mike said, "Somebody said they're going to have old Chance Band clips on there."

6) Halima-led Mariah Carey's It's Like That - Los (celebrating his birthday) danced onstage (and continued to for most of the rest of the set)
7) Donnell-led "25, 25, 25" / Donnell & Mike-led Rare Essence's Work the Walls - Smoke played timbales, Jacques played congas with drumsticks, Tina danced with Mike, the song was reduced to just bass, keyboards and cymbals

12) Instrumental - just grooving, they were still playing as the equipment guys broke down the congas Donnell said, "Rico, a lady wants to know what's your stage name and your website."
It was Dana's birthday. I recognized her as a regular who was on the bus trip (on the other bus).
