Zanzibar on the Waterfront, 700 Water Street SW Washington, DC 20024
When I arrived at Zanzibar, there was a long line. Ro'chelle (Toosweet), Danielle (Pinkprincess) and Sherray (Always Showtime!!) were already in it. Darrell F. arrived while I was still in line. He said that even though he was in line at 8:39, he didn't get inside until 9 PM and that they charged him. He said they are trying to limit the number of people who get in free, but speculated that they will not have as big crowds because of it. Once inside, all five of us discussed the bus trip. Some guys played chess the whole evening.
Cookie said, "You can say DeeDee is in Atlanta."
There was a woman, Jalila, dancing on the dance floor the whole night by herself. She had really striking dance moves.
