I talked with Doc sending Judie Worrell's email address to him. He said he got a lot of emails from my ccing him on the inquiry about Eddie Hazel/Michael Hampton. He said he saw a PFunk website that had my site in its links. I told him I got more PFunk contacts from my site than my work at Rhino. I said to Dwayne that it may have been his girlfriend I danced with last Thursday, based on what he told me earlier. I told Lorenzo about Bernie Worrell's sampling CD.

3) Donnell & Halima-led (Sade's) Cherish the Day - this was the debut performance of this for Halima, she had not rehearsed it but sang it nicely, DP stood on the right side of the stage, Halima used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Donnell said, "Dwayne Lee", Mike and Halima did similar moves, Mike played air guitar, Donnell used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Halima moved around, Donnell said, "We haven't played this in a long time." (that's true), Donnell said, "Stacey, go back to the old school, not talking about the Black Hole, Stevie Wonder."

Danielle (Wellfhed), Shawn, Shaun, and Tyrell were there.
I talked with Nita and Shante. Shante sat in a chair. I offered them both lap dances - I told Shante, front or back. She said I had been hanging out with Floyd too much. Nita asked me to bring my camera next week as it is her birthday. I told her she needed to do something to be worthy of pictures taken. I told Nita I would give her a lap dance for her birthday.
Mike was a ham. He told Shante she had lost weight. She was very appreciative.

10) Donnell-led It Is What It Is" - Doc was on backup vocals, they turned on the strobe lights, Donnell used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Halima did nonverbal arm & hand gestures to the lyrics, Donnell said, "We got a lot of talk about bands from across...", Mike used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures
11) Donnell-led Rare Essence's Marinda (tease) - Donnell said, "It's my baby RE Angie's birthday, we're going to do this, she don't even like that song (which is why he cut it short)"

13) Donnell-led RE Angie Will You Dance for Me - Halima smiled and watched RE Angie, Donnell called up Tyrell, Mike stared and smiled (Tyrell's top was basically backless), Nikki and Shadonna followed, June watched Shadonna from the front, Donnell said, "Hey Stomp, Hey Smoke, yes sir", Donnell said, "Broadway", Donnell said, "That's what we're talking about Wheeler Road, Trinidad"
14) Donnell & Halima-led Sade's No Ordinary Love altered lyrics "Familiar Faces give you all that I got, Didn't I tell you, Didn't I give you all that I got to" - first Donnell sang it then Halima (first time, again not rehearsed) after Donnell said, "Look here y'all, we're getting ready for ten for ten", Donnell said, "Give it to 'em, Halima", Donnell said, "One more time Halima, Michael Muse", Donnell shouted, "Yeah!", Donnell said, "By yourself", Donnell said, "Hey Stomp, Hey Smoke, yes sir" Donnell said, "Do you hear me?"
Donnell did a shout out to Jay Gotti, but I didn't see him.
I talked some more with Nita and Shante. Nita and I danced in the lounge. Nita and Shante talked with Stomp. He had a towel on his head. They asked how old he was, I said twenty-six. I also teased him about wearing his shoes; he often walks around in socks. Shante said he was wet behind the ear, Nita said, "That's why he has a towel on his head." I said that Stomp is the biggest 'Bama dancer in the band. Stomp, Nita, and Shante kidded me about whether I would write this down.
A guy kept bothering Shante, sitting in her lap despite the fact that she didn't know him.
Danielle and Teago sat by the doorway to the stage. Kato stood over there. I teased Teago - I asked him if he had a Hendrix shirt underneath his black collared shirt. Supa Dan came by, I introduced him to Danielle. She asked about his name being the same, he said it is spelled that way.
Shawn came by Nita, Shante and I.

DJ Flava (aka GoGo Rudy) asked when the (Familiar Faces live) DVD was coming out. Donnell said, "I don't know"
Donnell did a shout out to Stinky Dink, but I didn't see him.
Donnell said, "Godfather, you ready? Can we play? I don't know why you need a chair anyway, Louie don't". Lorenzo smiled.
DP said of a girl, "No underwear". Donnell said, "I would never say that, that was..." DP said, "Whatever"
Donnell said, "You cold baby?" - Halima wore a black wrap.
2) Mike-led Bobby Valentino's Tell Me - Donnell said, "Look at the ladies, fellas", Donnell used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Donnell said, "Hey Godfather", Halima used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Donnell said, "Oh", Donnell said, "Get on down Tracy", Donnell chanted, "Wait a minute", Donnell said, "That's what we're talking about, ready 6'9?", Halima danced, Donnell shouted, "Yeah!" repeatedly, Mike smiled, stared and laughed at Halima's nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Halima smiled

3) Donnell & Halima-led Lil Kim's Lighters Up - Donnell held up his lit cell phone, Donnell called out names, there was a nice crank, Donnell said, "Don't tell me you don't feel that? Can you feel that?", Halima rapped, she included locations, "Southeast, Broadway, Southwest, Northwest... now everybody", Halima smiled and laughed, Mike and Donnell bounced / Donnell sang, "DC home of the GoGo rappers, DC home of the meanest rappers" - Halima moved around, Donnell used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Donnell said, "Hey Flava" , Donnell said, "Hey Stomp", Donnell said, "Gimme the Woo", Mike and Halima sang, "Woo", Donnell said, "Don't tell me that shit ain't crankin'. You can tell Publicity we said so.", Halima smiled, Donnell said, "If you want it, come and get it Publicity. Anyone know them we ain't scared of them, they are scared. Publicity come and get some right.", There was a fight, Donnell called for the house lights to come on, Only the keyboards continued to play, Donnell said, "We don't do that down here. I don't know you are, we need to get these 'Bamas out of here, let's play some old school, you can beat your feet down the street.", A guy in the crowd said, "Those are the Friday 'Bamas", Donnell said, "Hey Smoke", Donnell said, "Hey Smoke, Hey Stomp", Halima clapped, Donnell chanted, "Ey ay", Donnell said, "I think they're ready"
There was some stink on the dance floor - it wasn't drugs or sweat, but it was nasty. I certainly wasn't the only one who noticed it.
4) Halima-led Mariah Carey's It's Like That - Halima's singing was energetic, Halima moved around, Donnell used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Donnell laughed at 6'9, Halima bounced, Donnell moved around, Donnell said, "Don't get Halima started y'all", Donnell said, "Let's go Halima", 6'9 pointed out the girl he was dancing with to Donnell, Donnell said, "She's for me", Donnell said, "Uh oh", Donnell said, "Come on y'all". Halima used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, there was an abrupt transition
5) Donnell-led Trina Was Great - Donnell went to the edge of the stage, Donnell and Halima used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Halima mimed, they played a sample: "Oh, oh, oh,", Donnell shouted, "Yeah!", Halima danced, Donnell bounced, Halima played one of the congas, Halima smiled, Donnell inserted names into the lyrics (replacing Trina), Halima bounced, Donnell said, "If that's how you feel you got to do what you feel", Mike danced with Nikki, Halima traded synchronized dancing moves with a girl in front and smiled, Donnell inserted names, Donnell said, "Even if you haven't heard the words before the music is familiar", Donnell said, "It is what it is, We did that Shawn", there was a new sound by a keyboard or drum machine, Halima went back to her normal spot and clapped / Donnell-led Dem Franchise Boyz? I Think They Like Me - "I think you like me" (they continued to perform the music to Trina Was Great), Donnell used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures and moved around, Halima used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures
6) Alternating Donnell-led 50 Cent's In Da Club (tease) - Halima bowed to someone in the audience, DP yelled, "Come on!", Donnell said, "It's my baby RE Angie celebrating her birthday", Halima played one of the congas, Donnell said, "Look Godfather, She ain't going anywhere, I'll get you her name, look at me, I see what you're looking at, showing you her leg, Do what you feel", Donnell said, "How do you feel", RE Angie had a big smile / "RE Angie" chant
7) Mike-led Michael Jackson's I Can't Help It - Halima went back to her normal spot, Mike used a lot of nonverbal arm & hand gestures, Halima smiled at 6'9, Donnell turned around, Donnell said, "We're about to beat our feet y'all", Donnell and Halima beat their feet, Donnell laughed, Ray told 6'9 to go get the girl he was dancing with, Donnell said, "Hey Smoke", Donnell said, "What's going on over there?", Donnell said to some girl, "You ain't got to tell me baby", Donnell said, "I don't know what y'all are still doing here, I said it's done", there was a nice crank, Halima danced and laughed, Donnell said of 6'9's girl, "Hey 4'9"
Donnell said, "That's it Halima, we're out of here."
Donnell said, "Tomorrow is ladies, just ladies, and us and Ray, (Guys) if I don't call you, you can't come". Halima said, "Yes, you can"
Donnell said, "Hey Junior" turn off the sound
Donnell said, "Hey Omar, I know you can't hear me" - Omar talked with the same four girls (the Cranberries crew, including Mia) he talked with at Tradewinds on Saturday. I talked with him about it later on my way out, he laughed and yelled to Stomp.
