Tradewinds Night Club, 5859 Allentown Way, Camp Springs, MD 20748
There was a jumper on I-95, which delayed the traffic (the signs said accident, so I didn't know it was actually a jumper until I read it in the Metro section the next day) - it shut off all northbound lanes (later all lanes) on I-95, so the people wanting to take exit 27 essentially formed a parking lot.
After I parked, I spotted Doc, James and Godfather sitting outside by the side entrance. Lorenzo came formally dressed. They asked him if he had gone to a funeral. He had actually played at the Stone Soul Picnic. Then Big Tony Fisher from Trouble Funk walked up and said hello to us. Doc introduced me to Derek (spelling), the conga player in his band (Physical Wunders).
Inside, I talked with Tracy. She asked me about the Miami video. I teased her about her being on bad behavior, she said she had done nothing bad. She said she was waiting for Angie. Shawn was there, she waved to me. Tracy, Los, and June and his wife Shadonna were there. Dey and Slim Goodie talked with me.

Sanisse and Tijuana were there.
We talked about the water in DC. I remember when the Green Line station on the Metro opened on December 11, 1993, we went to Union Station and tap water was banned. DP said he wished he had known that Aquafina would sell, he used to make it when he was a dialysis technician. Stomp wore a Raw Image "under construction" shirt. Doc asked what under construction meant. We talked about the hookers in DC. DP said many of them were male - had adams apples. I told him about a survey at UVA of women who were monogamous and contracted HIV and didn't know where from, that 100% of them had boyfriends who had contracted HIV from DC prostitutes. DP said he f*cked with prostitutes in DC when he was in high school. Doc backed up, saying "You f*cked with them..., I can't moonwalk, but I can back up" (DP meant he messed with them, not in a sexual sense). We also talked about the so-called bums (not really homeless) who slept outside the library by Xcalibur. DP mentioned the Russian women in Bethesda (a massage parlor that was really a front for prostitution that the police raided in the mid 1990's). I said that was right across the street from the Bethesda Library. I talked about the College Park palm reader that is rumored to be a brothel because of all the expensive cars constantly parked there. I said now Montgomery County has some of the strictest legislation in the state for physical therapists and that you can't get a massage from someone of the opposite sex. DP said he wouldn't want a massage from a man.
Nena was there, she did a dance and said, "There's your lapdance."
