I talked with Doc - he said he heard they lost a lot of money at the DC Armory show, he said that wasn't the proper venue, they should have gone to the 9:30 Club. DP had his flugelhorn. GoGo Mickey was there - I introduced myself, told him about my project, have seen him perform with them and also went to the DC Armory show - he gave a thumbs down, said they (the promoters) lost a lot of money.
