Summer 2004 and Beyond: Going to the GoGo
Saturday, 24 November 2007
Friday at X4B
X4B Luxury Hall, 3279 Brinkley Rd, Temple Hills MD 20748

This was my first time at this venue.

James was there.

Supa Dan was the DJ.

Epitome - 9:45
The line up was: lead talker, Mase (spelling?, singer), another male vocalist (played cowbell as well), female vocalist, male vocalist/trombone player, trumpet/cowbell player, 2 keyboard players, bass, drummer, percussionist

Sound Check
1) Mase-led "You gave me problems, if you don't, I'll..." - it had a light crank
2) female-led Alicia Keys' No One - it had a light crank
3) Mase-led "that's right, from your head to your toes, every time that you make love, I'm so good to you" - it had a light crank
The lead talker announced that the following song was an original:
4) Mase-led "Happy baby, I love the things you do, Welcome to this wonderland" - it had a light crank / Percussion solo - it rose to a full crank, the lead talker said, "Well, I'm ready"

I enjoyed the set; it ended at 2:40.

I enjoyed the night, but I would have liked to have seen L!ssen (who's usually on the bill), since they cranked really hard the last time I saw them and that was without Yannie.
